How to use narrow long closets - layout

I have a very long narrow closet that has two ends that are deep and hard to reach. I dont want just shelves on both sides because then I'm losing hanging space.
However, Recently I discovered an idea that may fix my problem by using two curved rodded shelves on both sides and still having a long clothes rod through the middle.

Heres my closet layout.

This curved rod can be bought here: Amazon link
In my design you will need 4.

I Recommend either one of these for support. My guess is that the second one will work best, however it is more expensive.
In my design you will need 8.

To attach it you will need to put up a shelf on both ends. and then screw it into the bottom so that it is hanging down as indicated in my layout. I recommend a curved shelf but a straight one will work ok too. Remember that your shelf will be holding lots of weight so you will need to make sure that it is bracketed and sturdy.

I recommend 4 of these: Amazon link

Or you could skip my whole curved idea and go with the cheaper version by using a straight rod and shelf:

  1. Hi, Heather! Can you tell me how deep your closet is and how easy it is to maneuver yourself in there? We have a closet at the moment that is 93"x26" and a hall closet that butts into our bedroom closet. I would like to open both of those up to give us a fairly decent sized master bath so I can add a jet tub in there bc our bath has just a standing shower that is so small you bump your elbows when trying to wash off! Sooo, I thought maybe we can basically add that same closet on another wall in our bedroom but it could actually be as long as 11' but might need to be shallower in depth to 23". With this setup I'm thinking of using a barn style door to save floor space and have a drawer system in the center where we could sit our TV on it and be able to have it open when we want to watch TV in bed. I love those end pieces you used! What's your opinion on this bc we don't plan to spend the rest of our life here...would buyers rather have a small master bedroom if they could get a better master bath and a closet system that makes the most of the space inside the closet? The way it is now, we can't really put our bed but on two of the walls in our room anyway bc the windows are not centered on the walls, and for me, I'm just way too picky and CAN'T HANDLE my furniture being off center! Haha! If we add this new closet then we are left with only one wall now to put the bed. Would that be a deterrent to buyers? We have a king bed with nightstands that fit perfectly on the wall opposite to where the new closet would be built.
